Hello - I'm glad to be here

So glad to find a forum like this.

Re: Hello - I'm glad to be here

I'm from the U.S. I live near Los Angeles.

Are you the operator of this site? What type of evangelism do you do? What part of Australia are you in?

I've been an Christian broadcaster, an evangelist, a pastor and a church planter in the US and Canada. I had to go into business a few years ago to take care of some financial needs. During that time I wrote three books on business. One was a best seller on Amazon a couple years ago.

God has been stirring me to get back to the most important business - His business.

I am in the process of starting a new non-profit evangelistic organization called Andrew Effect International. I'll have the web site up soon - www.andreweffect.com

What if every believer would win just one person to the Lord every year, disciple that person and get them into church? Our number would double in one year. If we kept it up every year, we would double every year until we reached evangelism saturation. That's the Andrew Effect. The first thing Andrew did was to bring his brother to Jesus.

My book outlines the things a church can do to make it happen. God did it when I was pastoring in Canada. We were baptizing every Sunday.

I hope to have the book finished in 2-3 months. Once it is done, I plan to book meetings in churches to teach how it can be done.

If everybody does a little, nobody has to do a whole lot - especially when there is a lot of prayer going on. It's amazing to watch what God will do through it. Of course we don't live in a perfect world, so we are elated to see 30-50% get involved. Even 10% will make a big impact.

The book is a lot of practical stuff.

Please pray for the ministry. We've got a lot of financial challenges now. I expect it to get better when the book comes out.

God bless you in your ministry. I'm looking forward to hearing from you.

Re: Hello - I'm glad to be here

Hi Bob,

What an interesting life you have lead! I have had a look at the soul winner website (just on iPhone) and there are some great resources. I will also have to check out the andrew effect site.
Yes I set up this forum a year or 2 ago. It is one of many projects I have started but havent had as much time as i had hoped to really optimize and develop further. I started doing street evangelism a few years ago (details are on some of my other posts) but haven't really done much since moving states 18 months ago. I have recently joined a prison ministry team and am looking forward to doing some sharing of the good news in local prisons here in Aus.
I'm over in Western Australia.
Do you use any of the Way of The Master evangelism tracts etc when witnessing or have you developed your own? I watch a lot of their witnessing videos from CA area at Universities and Huntington Beach etc and find them encouraging.
Blessings
